Bottle at home. Hadn’t had an Italian brew in awhile and this was well priced. Dark pour but rather flat looking and minimal head. Nose is fine balsamic and fruits and cocoa. Tatses of caramel, fig, cocoa powder, balsamic vinegar, cherry, cola. Slick palate.

Bottle. Unclear amber body with a small, dense tan head. Nice, strong aroma of caramel malt, dry fruit and a little spicy yeast. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, dry fruit, slightly spicy. Medium body and average aftertaste. Quite Belgium in style, aroma and the first sips is promising, but it ends up a bit simple and one-dimensional. Absolutely drinkable, but there is a lot of beers tasting more than less the same as this.

On keg at The Italian Job, Mercato Metropolitano, London. A dark brown coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Yeasty, caramel, slightly sour aroma. Tastes similar, yeasty, caramel, slight sourness, some dark fruit. Not one I'd try again in a hurry but it is OK.

Bottled. Pours foggy brown with modest off-white head. Aroma: strong malts of caramel, toffee, sourish yeastiness, dried fruit, candied sugar. Medium body. Soft carbonation. The taste is initially richly malty and lightly sweet. Fruity & spicy middle. The ending is pretty tart with malt toastiness and light hoppiness. Interesting.

Bottle - Raisin, dark sugars and some cocoa. Dirty brown with a rich beige head. Cocoa, dark malts, light oxidization and light raisin. Flavours are a little less pronounced than the nose would suggest.

Malziger, zu Beginn eher leichter Antrunk. Geringe Röstigkeit, stärker süßlich malzig. Spritzig, Nuancen von Kräutern im Nachhall, dabei ist das Malz nach wie vor präsent. In weiten Teilen sehr doppelbockig. 11/10/11/11/10/11

Black color with tan head. Aroma is wood, fresh, charred malts. Taste is fresh, charred malts, a bit caramel, hints of fruits, medium carbonation. Very light for 8%. Good brew!

Bottle. Cloudy chestnut, low offwhite head. Roast, bread, melons in the aroma. Strong burned caramel, fruit, bitter melon, spice. Medium full body. Caramel and cocoa aftertaste.

Botella 33 cl tomada en el Lupulo en mayo 2013. (r135). Lote L065 12 hasta 10..04..2014. Suave refinada y con buena sensación alcohólica con sus 8 vol. No está nada mal. Para repetir.
