(Bottle, 26 Dec 2022) Dark reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of wort bread, dried apricots, dates, chocolate and orange peel. Malty taste with wort bread, dried apricots, dates, chocolate, orange peel, caramel and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, toffee, some fruity and mild earth. Flavour is floral, wooden, herbal and some resin and sweet malts to it.

Bottle from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Clear mahogany with a medium head. Malt,dark bread, mild toasted notes and some syrup. Mild warming notes.

Sampled at SBWF 2022. Poured light brown in color. Bready malty, pretty strong, packed with malty caramelly, toast and bready notes.

Bottle at Captain Cooks, Östersund. Zero aroma. Correct doppelbock appearance. Flavour is riding lagom with a more Bock like ending, I.e. lacking profoundness. Smeh.

ABV: 7.5%. ✅ Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, sugary, light sour berries - malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, sugary, malty, light sweet fruit - sweet berries - sour berries - sour malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20211228]

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Buttery caramel aroma. Mid sweet with medium to full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of butterscotch, some caramel. Low bitterness.
