SUPER SMOOTH WITH CHOCOLATE MALT, COFFEE AND TOFFEE NOTES. Innately predisposed to be smooth when Poured Hard, this nitro coffee porter builds a pillowy, toffee-sweet head. Coffee and flavors of caramelized sugar, cacao and hints of blueberry lead to a light, smoky finish.

Near black. Fresh roasted coffee, roasted malts, cocoa, earthy. Medium, super smooth body. Dry finish. The dry roasted notes roughen up the body a bit. Bitter roasted notes linger. Highly enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, best before 6/25/2017. Pours crystal clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a 1-2 finger dense and creamy light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a thick cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings down the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, toasted bread, light smoke/herbal/wood, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light earthy hop notes, with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, toasted bread, light smoke/herbal/wood, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light hebral/spicy hop and roast/coffee bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, toasted bread, light smoke/herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from hop/roast bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Light carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a great American coffee porter. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Great malt complexity without being too roasty, with balanced coffee presence. A really enjoyable offering.

355ml bottle. Darkest brwon colour with late awakening, small, creamy, half-way lasting, well lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, dark malty aroma with a smoky touch, notes of cocoa, cold coffee, a touch of soy sauce and lovage. Taste is chocolately dark malty, notes of cocoa, coffee, milk chocolate and dark chocolate, a touch of toffee and caramel, blueberry and blackberry, a touch of smoke, ashes and burnt caramel in the finish; creamy texture, super soft, silk and smooth palate, soft to flat carbonation. Rather complex, but most flavours remain in a state of insinuation.

Bottled. Black colour with a creamy brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, some slight lactose, mild toffee as well as some slight ashes. Flavour is quite similar, but also has quite a bunch of hops as well as some chocolate and mild syrupy notes.

12oz bottle as my nightcap on 19th May 2016 while on holiday in California. Poured into a Leffe goblet at my daughters. Very dark with a wispy head, coffee flavours with a chocolate twist in the nose and taste, a little flat on the palate, but it was over chilled. Good (ish).
