--Bottled. -- Almost clear, pale amber. Aroma of hay, bread and tea. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready with plenty of hay. Long bitter finish.

Bottle sourced from and shared at home (19/02/2022) - light hazed amber with a white head. Toasted and sweet bready malty, caramel, undertones of twiggy hops, light to medium body, jarring metallic taste though unfortunately ruins this. Rough.

330ml bottle from Beery Christmas Advent Calendar - Amber colour, off white top. Grass and pine in the nose, taste is caramel, malt, quite bitter and dry.

Aroma: malts, yeast and toffee. Taste: earth, yeast, intense malts and brown bread. Long dry finish. Fizzy mouthfeel. Full bodied. Next one please!

33cl Fles van Beery Christmas. Amber kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Gras en dennen in de geur, later meer caramel, mout, vrij bitter en droog. Lichte body. Goed gelukt, maar het blijft een behoorlijk saaie stijl.

Bottle from the Beer Hawk Advent Calendar - a new region tick a less available style so happy with this one. Malty yeasty aroma. Opaque amber. Foamy bubbly white head Light-medium bitter, which then amps up. Spice. Grains. Sweet and sour yeastie edge does not intrude. Light bodied. Thin. Lifted by soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Hits the spot. Enjoyable and no sweet sickly streak which is always my fear with a lager.
