Good smell that's a mix of coffee and soya sauce, and even when combined they're still appealing. Has nice foam and a good black body. Flavour is nice crisp coffee with chocolate hints and roasted barley. Sharp finish and good mouthfeel. This is a very fine porter, light years ahead of the others I've tried in Quito.

Bottle split at Bespin, 14/04/16. Gusher alert. Pitch black with a well appointed tan head that retains well. Nose is earthy roast, cocoa powder, light spice, dark fruit notes, toffee fudge. Taste comprises roast malt, sweet toffee, chocolate, light charr, dark fruit whisper. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with sweet vibrations. Ok.
