Rocky Mountain Juniper Mead is made with the finest ingredients and crafted with care to deliver a taste experience that's truly unique. The mint gives the mead a refreshing and herbaceous flavor, while the rowan berries add a tartness that's balanced out by the smooth sweetness of the honey and rose hips. The juniper berries add a subtle bitterness and a complex, spicy flavor that makes this mead perfect for sipping and mixing.

This unique mead is a versatile beverage that can be enjoyed in many ways. It's perfect for sipping on its own, as the rich and complex flavors make it a great choice for after dinner or for special occasions. It's also great for mixing with carbonated water, as the flavors of the mead are enhanced by the bubbles and the sweetness of the honey is balanced out by the carbonation.

The most pale purple. A little bit of sweetness on the palate, with a bit off fruit. It's decent.

200mL bottle, pours a clear pale pink, no head. Nose is full of rosehips, mint, and berries, with no perceptible honey character—plenty of booze too. Flavour is fairly sweet and boozy, with lots of red berries, a saccharine-like sweetener character, gentle mint, and generic herbal notes. What an interesting beverage—would never have guessed this was mead, just some boozy liqueur-like drink. Interesting.

Poured from 200mL bottle (lot 13? I think; purchased July 2025 from Pommier Ranch). Mostly clear yellow gold with no head. Very nutty wood aroma, taste is earthy nutty wood with soft sweet honey underlay, light background bitterness from the juniper and rowan berries. Unique, not my cup of tea, but the best of the Pommier Ranch offerings. Would be good to mix in cocktails.

750ml bottle found in Cranbrook, decanted. 20% abv, 2019 edition. Clear gold body. Quite a fruity juniper berry on the nose with soft marzipan and maybe just a little mint. Taste is meaty, slight berry citrus coming through a very warming honey and macadamia nut. Smooth and easy but I was hoping for more prominent juniper.
