50cl bottle. Pours amber/golden with a small layer of lace on top - no bubbles. The nose is a bit dank and musky - maybe wet malt is what I’m getting. The taste has seaweed and wet malt. The palate is medium bodied, tangy texture in the middle, quite drying on the end. Overall, this is probably the worst of the beers from Nogne I’ve had, but they really nakl they style.

Bottle at Cafe buitenlust, Oirschot, shared with DutchDrebus. Not really special but pretty nice. Yellow / golden color, white head. Smell and taste bitter and a little hops. Fine texture, nice carbonation and medium bodied. Nice one.

Yes, it’s bitter. I don’t like bitter. This is about the best bitter there can be.

Bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi. Originally rated on 31.1.2010. Nice, quite hoppy and grassy English styled bitter.

For me this is not the best Nogne beer. Mouthfeel is above average. Probably nothing you haven’t tasted before.

bottle from kihoskh. cloudy orange, smooth offwhite head. bitter aroma, english bitter hops, also a note of dusty stale hops. nice sweet flowey and hoppy flavor. a bit more flowery and a bit less herbal than your usual bitter - more like a spanish pale ale i’m afraid, also resembles an english style ipa. lacks some dryness and herbal spicyness for me to really think of it as an english bitter. (i’m no expert, these are just my thoughts). Overall a bit too flowery sweet with not enough bitterness and dryness or malt balance to make up for the sweetness. The beer label states it’s a harmonic and easy-drinking beer. That’s quite true, especially if You are into flowery sweet stuff. It would do well with food.

Herb-bitterer, ziemlich trockener Antrunk, mild. Hopfige Noten sind weniger vorhanden, die trockene Bitterkeit steigt daher, immerhin sind leichte Hefenoten vorhanden. Dunkel bitterer Abgang. Durchschnittliches Bitter. 11/7/8/7/10/7

Bottle. Pours an unclear yellow, with little head. Very evident aroma, with pleasant hoppy notes of citrus and some spruce, and also a nice malty caramel. Flavour is bitter, with lemon, orange peel, pine and resin, nicely balanced by a malty presence of honey and toffee. A dry, persistent bitter finish.
