Opaque dark yellow colour with no head. Aroma and flavour are mostly orange juice and a bit of mango. Low bitterness but slightly dry.

0,44 l can. Again looks like orange limonade with a more than one finger white head in the glass. Intensive tropical on the nose, grape, citrus, orange, yeast. Taste has a decent hop bitterness, pine and resin, fruity backbone. Pale grain flour. Nearly sticky sweetness in the second row. Mid dry fruity bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad.

NEDIPA by the guys from Groningen, can shared by Jan, cheers! Egg-white, open and thinly moussy, ring-shaped head, cloudy yellow blonde robe with apricot tinge. Lightly dank but mostly very tropical aroma of ripe mango, rambutan, overripe pineapple, sweet onions, peach purée, Zespri kiwi, baby’s fruit porridge, fresh dough, spicy notes of paprika powder and dry peppercorns. Tropically sweet but ‘clean’ onset, juicy pineapple, mango and lychee, softly tingling carbonation, supple creamy mouthfeel; soft doughy malts soaked in honeyish sweetishness without actually being sweet, lots of ripe yellow fruitiness and tropicality (mango, guava) and a very mildly peppery touch of bitterishness tucked away in the background. Some warming alcohol is slightly noticeable – but for this style and strength, remains very discreet compared with many other examples. Very well executed, full and tropical without any element being overdone, all aspects are tied together well here. Nice, a tropical juicy drink from Groningen (hardly a place one typically associates with the word 'tropical'), the Folkingebrew crew is one to be watched closely from a postmodern craft beer perspective.

Keg at Tilt, Bingohame, 12/02/22. Almost clear golden orange with a decent off white cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is juicy citric flesh, grass, peach, grapefruit, pine nip, ripe melon. Taste comprises ripe tropical fruit esters, mango splash, grapefruit, grass, hop spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Not bad.

CD 09/11. Hazy yellow, some unstable off-white head. Big smell of candied pineapple, some mango. Nicely thick, soft, slightly chalky at the end. Taste is sweet, with lots of pineapple and passion fruit. Maybe a tad too sweet, but very tasty for sure.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours cloudy orange-gold with a modest, creamy white head. Medium sweet, quite dank, notes of fresh, peach, mango, tangerine, mellow rindy bitterness, supportive pale malts. Lightly warming finish, more juicy tropical fruits, a little dank pine. Really good.
