We brewed a traditional turbid mash as they would do in most Lambik breweries in Brussles to generate lots of starch for the Brett to work on slowly over a year of fermentation in our Foeders, giving a soft funkyness light sour edge with a balance of fruit forward sweetness from the apricots we added 1 month prior to packaging.

Bottle from 2020, drunk after a nice rainy day playing guitar. Sparkly sour nose, indeterminate stone fruit notes. Full flavor, big stormed with complex woody overtones and a fruity backbone. Nice carbonation as well. Just a hint of sweetness, there's not much left behind by the Brett. Good one but still it's a bit too sour for my tastes.

bottle, 2020 tasted june 2024 aroma of apricot and bretty sourness. leather. nice aroma. very sour lambic or wild bere aroma, quite citrussy, not very bretty, not much apricot, mostly very sour lambic flavor. however, the sourness is quite clean and there is no nailpolish or other annoying notes, so the flavor is very fine, just not much apricot considering how much there was in the aroma. good refreshing sour, bordering extreme sour.

LKBW22. Hazy reddish orange, Apricot candy aroma, dried apricot, syrup. Apricot jam flavor, tangerine juice, lemony sourness. Meaty texture, medium body, soft carbonation, puckering finish. Just slightly funky, lacks some more complexity, resembles a fizzy drink.

Bottle. It pours an unclear orange colored body under a finger-thick white head. Some lacing. The aroma is deliciously funky and fruity, with horseblanket, barnyard, some lemon, generic fruityness, oak, apricot and a touch of pale malts. It's full-bodied, sour and acidic, dry and nicely carbonated, with lots of fruity flavors. Apricot, leather, barnyard, horseblanket, lemon hints, oak and a wee hint of pale malts in the flavor. Lasting acidic and fruity finish. Delicious indeed. 220611
