Die alten Wikinger hätten wohl ihre Freude mit einem solchen Bier gehabt: Eine fette 1l-Dose mit hochprozentigen Starkbier. Und Stärke scheint auch das Leitbild dieses Biers zu sein: Schaffst du die ganze Dose, dann bist du ein starker Kerl! Mir ist es einfach zu plump und brutal...und vor allem zu viel davon.

1 liter can @ Rick and shared with him, gift from my parents. Clear golden with a thin white head. Grainy alcohol aroma and taste. piss poor beer.

Boks 1,0l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Delt med Rune under avskjedsrating i H9 - 3 Des 13. Lys gyldenbrun. Litt uklar. Høyt skum som etterlater mye lacing. Aroma av søt alkohol. Skarp alkoholsmak med innslag av mandler. Blir bare søt & alkoholisk og gir varme i kinnene. Vasken fikk mest!

Goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig süß, alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr malzig süß, getreidig, alkoholisch.

Shared 1 liter can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate sweetish aroma, slightly fruity, a hint of hops - better than feared. Very sweet flavour, warming mouthfeel, some hops in the finish. Could have been worse.

Fra boks på RB-samling på Vistnes: scorer høyt på ppk-skalaen (promille pr krone). Overraskende lett å konsumere, alkoholen merkes først i magen selv om den gir en varmende munnfølelse.

1000ml can kindly shared by Finn. Fast declining white head. Slightly cloudy, pale golden. Spotty lacing. Sweet fruity smell with vapour of alcohol. Sweet grain-fruity taste joined by metallic alcohol. More and more alcohol for every sip. About 700ml of the content went down the drain (at Finns in Tromsø 03.12.2013).

You’ve got the same things here as with the common lager. Golden colour. Aroma of grain & maize. Bitterness in ending phase. But all these things get almost lost under the huge pressure of alcohol. Pleasantly sweet notes of the taste are totally overdubbed by aggressive ABV. Not really bad but absolutely unnecessary. Highly recommended for drunkards, a one-try-brew for others.
