Keg at Piwoteka, Łódź. Almost clear amber, rich creamy head. Huge peaty nose. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and very peaty. Resinous finish where sweetness and bitterness creates an unpleasant inky sensation. Brutal.

Bottle. Strong iodine, stale smoke, salt aroma. Cloudy orange, golden head. Salt, spicy, strong smoke, sausage. Smoke retronasal.

Bottle. Orange color with white head. Aroma is peat smoke, wood and ash, some maltiness. Taste is more peat, some sweetness. Low carbonation. Very weird, but somehow good.

Very hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Peaty nose. Palate is light and fairly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, some creamy sweetness. Massive peat! It’s all here - TCP, Band Aids, bitter smoke. Some citric hop and a little pine provides a modicum of relief from the peat onslaught. Dry finish. Bitter peaty linger. Too peaty by far for me but strangely, I don’t hate it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ben’s place. Thanks Ben. Hazy orange-amber with a white head. Very peaty aroma with some fruity hops. Flavor has sweet malt, some caramel, peat smokiness, and bitter hops. Medium-bodied. Normally I’m not a fan of peaty beers, but this one is decent.

Jestem ewidentnie zbyt malo rewolucyjny. Dla mnie to piwo jest troche pomylka. Ebonit, olejna, bandaze. Sam torf. Zero imperial ipy. Brrr
