Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, smoke, caramel, roast, camp fire, hint of cocoa and coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Nicely smoked Stout-ish beer, I dig the balance between the smoke and the other flavours.

Bottle. Charcoal, like lighting the grill. Cloudy dark brown, brown lace. Medium light mellow body. Dry, toasty, burned, grassy components. Interesting.

Bottle. Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, a bit woody, a bit yeasty. Taste is more roasted malts, cereal, and milky yeasts. Low carbonation. Not bad, but not excellent either.

Bottle contributed by and shared with OSG at his chalet in Sirevåg with OSB 13.08.16. Ebony. Beige head and lacing. Smoke in aroma. More smoke in taste, with burnt circuit boards, roasted malt coffee and circuit boards.

Butelka 0.5l (30.08.2016). Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta, piana beżowa o kremowej konsystencji, średnio obfita, niezbyt trwała, praktycznie bez lacingu. Wędzonka bardzo delikatna, wyraźniejsza zaraz po otworzeniu butelki, po przelaniu nieco gubi się w tle. Poza tym słody palone, kawa, ciut czekolady i nieco nut kwaskowych w aromacie. Palono-słodkie, ciut wędzone w smaku z wyraźnym kwaskiem na finiszu, zakładam, że od słodów wędzonych bo jest taki gryzący w język, leciutko musujący, zbyt dominujący smak piwa. Piwo jest lekkie w odbiorze, pijalne choć odczucie pełni mogłoby być wyższe. Przyzwoite piwo ale mogłoby być bardziej wędzone, mniej kwaskowe z nieco większym ciałem a przynajmniej tym odczuwalnym. Oczekiwałem dużo więcej po Smoked Stout a jestem zawiedziony zarówno "smoked" (mało) jak i "stout" (bez charakteru).

Dark brown liquid. Medium to high head, fast retention. A LOT of smoked hints in aroma. Also bits of chocolate, cinnamon and coffee. Sweet without bitterness. Some sourness is present. Medium body and carbonation. Not much oily though.
