Rivington are well known for brewing an amazing range of beers, so we have been very excited to create a new one with them! This is an American Brown Ale, beginning with the subtle malt complexities of the brown ale style, with caramel, chocolate and just a hint of
nuttiness coming through, then using
this as a canvas for the addition of
pungent American hops. These bring
citrus, pine and a light tropical character to the fore, complementing the malt bill perfectly and creating a harmoniously balanced beer.

Keg draught at the Bankers Cat, Leeds. It pours light to medium russet brown with a thick beige head. Oaky aroma, some caramel noted with woody hops. Balanced taste fairly sweet at first with a herbal bitterness tagging on to the long finish. Light body, heavy carbonation. I love these American brown ales, and while this one's a bit lighter than the best of them, it's still got that wonderful bittersweet oakiness.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Clear ruby colour and small beige head. Malty, a toffeish, hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Typical Thornbridge clean palate. Rustic hops, caramel, late bitterness, a bit of burned sugar. Decent hoppy modern Brown ale.

Can picked up at Væskebalancen - Valby and drunk at home - mahogany brown with a slowly dissipating beige head. Toasted and sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, touch of cocoa, nice hoppy undertones, medium body, slightly nutty and sweet malty into the finish. Solid brown ale.
