Bottle, BB 17.11.2016 (from Koht). Pours dark brown with tan head. The head stays. Aroma is roast, coffee, hops, pine, citrus. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, fruits, citrus. Finish is short roast bitter with some sweetness. Body is on the light side. Overall: I enjoy it, but it feels kind of old and not hoppy enough (despite being only month+ old).

Draft @ Taproom, Malmö. Pours a dark amber black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity peachy hoppy aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity peachy hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty peachy hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor with hints of caramel.

Sample tray, draught at Cafe Sara. A stable layer on top of a deep, deep rosewood body. Aroma of pine and dark malts. Well-blended taste profile of coffee, dark bread and pine leading to a bitter ending of dark fruits. Well bodied. Tasty and enjoying (Oslo, 11.12.2015).

On tap at Café Sara, Oslo. Dark, dark mahogany, close to black, with a fluffy, beige head. Hoppy and roasty aroma with notes of dark fruits, licorice, citrus and herbs. Medium sweet with a nice mixture of dark and hoppy, and a fairly bitter finish. Tasty BIPA!

Fra kran på Cafe Sara 12 Des 15. Kullsort. Lavt stabilt skum med litt farge. Lett syrlig aroma. Agurk? Uansett bra. Smaken har et gjennomgående syrlig preg. Litt lakris & vanilje. Bra øl - men passet ikke til en (forøvrig utmerket) tunfisksalat.

Black color with a fine thick creamy beige head. Solid lacing. Chocolate, pine, hoppy and roasted aroma with a bit unusual mild intensity.Full body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet with a balanced bitterness. Oily texture. Coffee, roasted, pine, grapefruit hoppy and mild tropical flavor.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is fresh and roasted, pine needles, dark malts, roasted coffee, grass, roasted grain, weeds, minerals, moss, hops, leafs, burnt caramel. Taste is slightly sour-ish dry mineraly, cardboard, minerals, sour grass, weeds, alcohol, harsh hops, bark, medicine, sour coffee. Medium to longlasting harsh bitterness, medical mouthfeel. Disappointing.

Fra fat på ØST, Stavanger: nesten helt svart med fint beige skum. Kompleks aroma of av syrlig kaffe, røstet malt og dansk rugbrød. I smaken dukker der også opp noen mørke bær, knekk og krydder. Snev av lakris? Myk og lett syrlig, interssante smaker - lurer på hvilke humler de har brukt. Tørr og behagelig ettersmak hvor rugpreget fortsatt er til stede, sammen med noen fruktige/bæraktige toner. Dette er gode saker, så jeg griper raskt etter glasset igjen og igjen.
