Thanks fonefan! Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is grains, herbs, some mild grass and hay. Flavour is grains, herbs, grass and some mild grainy tones too. Smoothly balanced.

Muffiger, leicht bitterer Beginn. Trocken, wenig würzig, disharmonisch. Wenig hopfig, kurzer Abgang. Meh. 9/5/7/5/8/5

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grainy and strawy, malty aroma, grassy and minimally leafy, hoppy counterpart, a touch of nettle, yellow apple. Taste is bitter, herbal-grassy and minimally fruity hoppy, slightly grainy, minimally strawy, malty basis, hints of nettle, yellow apple, a slight muesli touch, subtle sweetness, minimally earthy, rustic constitution overall; lingering, almost a bit pungent, grassy hoppy finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Somewhat rustic, primordial, coarse, but full of straight, undisguised, unadulterated, candid flavours - promising primal encounter with this brewery.

"Barnimer Pils", Fläschchen von Ganicks Flaschbierschop. - Satt goldgelb, milchig trüb. - In der Nase weiche, zart süßlich zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe über mild getreidig-brotigem hellen Malz, Hefe. - Antrunk hefeweich mit floral-zitrusfruchtigem Hopfen von dezenter Herbe. Feine Malzsüße, zarte Anklänge an Banane (wohl von der Hefe). Milder rezent, hefeweich. Im Abgang runde grasige Hopfenherbe. - Recht untypisches Kellerpils, aromatisch zwar aber nicht so knackig gehopft wie ich es von einem Pilsener erwarte, etwas zu hefig-verwaschen. Das Barnimer Ferienlager hatte wesentlich mehr Hopfencharakter. (21.7.2020.)
Auch eine Neuverkostung ergab kein besseres Bild: in der Nase unpassende, marmeladige, ja zart bananige fruchtige Süße; im Antrunk verwaschen süßlich zitrusfruchtig und ohne die erforderliche knackige Hopfenherbe. - Daß eine so erstklassige Brauerei wie die Barnimer kein ordentliches Pilsener zustande bringt, ist erstaunlich.
