Rare DOS aged in Bourbon barrels for 20+ months then on Ancho and Guajillo peppers. These peppers are used for flavor and aroma, not spicy heat, do not expect or be afraid of spicy beer with this one.

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate and some spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts some coffee bourbon barrel and a nice spice touch.

Bomber from Tavour. Dark brown pour, small bubbly head. Aroma is roasty and sweet, some heat from the alcohol and peppers. Taste starts sweet, roasty, then the chili peppers kick in ith a spicy bite. Not over the top on the peppers.

Bottle, 22oz. An oily pour reveals a headless black body. The aroma has mostly roasted malts and some coffee, licorice, chili and burnt malts. Brown sugar, toffee and dark chocolate. It's full-bodied as hell, alcohol warming, chili warming, sweet and smooth, with a touch of carbonation. The flavor has a good dash of sweet sugary malts, with dark chocolate, some coffee and chili, toffee and a faint chili touch. Lasting finish. Delicious indeed, but I'd like more chili punch here. 220129
