Summoned from its rest in rum barrels after 14 long months, this hefty stout totes tones of spice cake, Demerara sugar, and nutty cacao. Brewed in collaboration with our dear friend John Laffler of Off Color Brewing, allow this paranormal stout to warm slightly in the glass before you put your fuzzy paws on it.

Bottle 375ml @ Rasmus hytte. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, rum, dried fruits and soya. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, rum, dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, alcohol, roasted malts, some slight toffee and mild smoked tones. Flavour is liquorice, chocolate, alcohol, some dried fruits, smoked wood and some mild toffeeish tones.

ABV: 11.3%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, rum - sweet alcohol, barrel - wood, sweet malt - caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, barrel, rum, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, wood, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20211112]

From bottle shared by Erik. Dense black pour with a brief beige head. Rich molasses, a touch of soy sauce, chocolate and tobacco. Cocoa butter, some nuts. Bit of salty liquorice in the finish. Rich, proper stout. A touch boozy just between the middle and the finish, but overall very nice!

Bottle. 37,5cl. Thanks a lot for the present WildeAlex! Pours Black with a small collapsing head. Nose is sweet and intense. Heavy on the rum barrel, molasses and Dark fruit. Oily and slick. Touch of Tobacco. Alcohol warmth is pleasant. Sipper. Lovely

375ml bottle pours an oily, leggy black with a ring of brown head. Nose has rum and whiskey and caramel and tons of spice, anise and clove, molasses, allspice, witch hazel. Flavor has the spices, witch hazel and anise and allspice and clove and molasses, black licorice, caramel, booze, chocolate. Finishes oily, full bodied and hot.
