Aoltbeer is the historic beer of Münster. The beers in this blend matured on average for 14 months in red wine barrels. In this time the beer developed its fruity and wine-like character. To this small batch no. 11-2021 we added locally grown "Hauszwetschge" plums. This luscious beer let you feel the last rays of the summer sun. Product with taste evolution in the bottle.

Shortlived, white head over veiled orangeish beer. Putteke , sulphur, drain, Brettanomyces and other wild (fruit)yeasts. Faint putty. Light sourish and sweetish taste, in excellent balance. Quetches are unmistakable, the original Aolt however in retreat. Exotic fruit in the aftertaste. Light body, refreshing, spritzy, fruitslickness. Another excellent Kemker product.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy reddish amber. Soft lactic notes, funk, dry wine, oak, quetsche, light herbal, grape skins. Dry and tannic fruits meet a sweet/sour velvety beer. A great balance here. Really works well together. Yum.

Taster, shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Orange, clear body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, off-white head. Aroma of moderate plum, berries, apple, some citrus, moderate funk. Tastes pretty similar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, medium sweet, moderate dry, a bit funky, fruity, with plum, apple, some citrus. 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

BB 15.08.2031. orange hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, musty, spices, some wood, light plums, stone fruits, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, grassy, stone fruits, plums, bit lactic, grassy, subtle funk, hay, citrus. finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of citrus, stone fruits and some hay. nice stuff, very good balance, love the stone fruit notes.
