750ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty, slightly smoky aroma, hints of dark chocolate, cocoa, mocha, liquorice, blueberry. Taste is roasty dark malty, smoky, slightly fruity, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, mocha, some liquorice, a touch of peat and tarmac, fruity hints of blueberry and bramble. Quite nice composition.

Brown color with tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, paint thinner, "full diapers" (jonas). Taste is similar. Not perfectly balanced, but overall ok.

Bottle. Dark brown, no head. Strong iodine, wooden, cigarette smoke, weird aroma. Light Sour, Rural, smoke, a hint chocolate. Weird balance. Medium light, mellow mouthfeel. Slightly stinky aftertaste. Doesnt come together for me.

Dark brown to black body, with a big, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of cocoa, dak chocolate, smoke, some coffee, some toast, dark fruits.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, quite creamy mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation.
Finishes dry, roasty, with coffee, cocoa, some liquorice, some smoke.
Nice one. Straight and well balanced, but lacking the last bit of extraordinariness maybe. The smoke notes are well integrated, not too dominant. Overall not among the best style exames I’ve had, but nice.

BB 30.09.2016. almost black color, small tan head. smells light smoke, sausages, spices, herbs, light licorice, overall nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly smoke, dried fruits, spices, medium roast, licorice, a bit soapy. finishes with roast and light smoke notes. overall good stuff, well balanced but smoke notes are a bit disturbing, not the best smoked beer I had, but still drinks decent enough.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish and light liqourice. Roasted dark malty. Roasted, lingering liqourice and roasted malty finish.

Pours black color with fast disapearing tanned head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malts. Not to sweet!

Herb malziger Antrunk, süßlich röstig. Spritzig, die Röstigkeit steigert sich. Süffig, minimal herb, rund, die Röstigkeit sinkt. 10/9/9/10/9/10

Sehr dunkel braune Farbe, geringe bräunliche schaumkrone. Geruch leicht rauchig, röstmalzig, Karamell, Schokolade. Geschmack süß Röstmalzig, Karamell, Vanille, dezent rauchig, vollmundig, lecker.
