Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, not much head. Aroma is toffee, some roasted tones, mild ripe fruits, some vanilla, wood and mild alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, some ripe fruits, mild toasted tones with some ashes and some slight spiciness in the finish. Quite boozy aftertaste.

Tap at The Standard in Norman. Pours black with brown head. Heavy, cloying and maple and vanilla in the background. Solid roast.

Bottled 355ml. -at Goblet Zagreb, shared with hrabren. Pitch black coloured, minimal brownish head that went away fast, chocolate, vanilla and alcohol in the nose. Sweet taste; chocolate, vanilla, noticable alcohol, light notes of wood and boozy finish.

0.355 l bottle shared with Ogi and Mrki Mile. Dark brown, minimal head. Caramel, alcohol, chocolate. Dried fruit, prunes. Syrup. Alcohol. Tartness. Dark malts and chocolate. A touch of barrel. Light smooth body, soft carbonation, light finish.

Superficial sample from Gunnfryds ticker party. Black body under a thin beige head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate and warming alcohol. Teste has sweet, dark malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, wood and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Nice pastry stout with a decent malt base.

Pours black with a few off-white bubbles. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, oak and nutty. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, maple, vanilla, oak and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. An oily dark brown to black beer, headless. Maple syrup, roasted malts, hints of vanilla, alcohol notes, roasted nuts, toffee, some dark chocolate and caramel sauce in the flavor. It's full-bodied, warming and smooth on the palate, softly carbonated, with quite a lot of roasted malt notes. Dark chocolate, caramel sauce, toffee and some vanilla. Nuts and maple. A bit sharp this one, but nice anyway. 230422
