(bottle) Slightly hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a big and firm tanned foamy head. Mildly roasted malty and nutty aroma with notes of caramel, hazelnuts, milk chocolate and vanilla. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft dark malt character with notes of nuts, chocolate and caramel; moderately sweet and slightly bitter finish with nutty notes and caramel in the aftertaste. A very pleasant Bock. 04.III.18

Süßer, brotig herber Beginn. Weich, brotig bleibend, eher hell malzig. Unvergoren süß, abnehmende Intensität. Okay. 9/8/8/8/7/8

500 ml bottle. Brown colour, big beige foam head. Espresso, caramel, roasted malt. Sweet-malty taste with bitter hint. Medium carbonated, full body. Oily texture.

50cl bottle. Pours clear orange brown colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of medium sweet and strong malt, nuts, some metallic hops. Taste of strong medium sweet malt, caramelish, nuts, mild spicy hops, nothing special.

Bottle. Cloudy orange-red, offwhite late head. Honeyish fat aroma, fruity notes. Full-bodied, mellow mouthfeel, light spicy, some herbal notes. Sweet, not sticky, pleasant chreme caramel like beer which stays moreish. Quite nice.

Nice amber color with small tan head. Aroma is honeymelon, peaches and strawberries, some caramel. Taste is caramel, some breadiness, the fruits stay there. Average carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Not bad!

Bottle(750ml): Copper coloured, a bit unclear, big loose off-white head, that slowly collapses; sweet-bitter nose of toasted malt and dark malt with certain hoppy traces and low fruity influences; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering, warming, dark-malty and mildly hoppy finish. Not earth-shaking, but all in all a quite well balanced and moreish Dunkler Bock…
