Bottle from Gabriel/Erzengel. Sweet sugary aroma with banana and a sourness that brings yoghurt to mind. Is there some grain or is that my imagination? Cloudy amber. Creamy white head. Medium sour with some underlying sugary sweetness. Banana and cloves as expected but as per the aroma the sourness is amped up. And again a hint of spicy rye. Medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. Nice enough. The rye isn't prominent but does add to the mix.

0.5 l bottle from 'EDEKA Knudtsen', best before April 2020. Hazy, brownish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, nuts, clove and overripe banana. Slightly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy taste of clove, overripe banana, bread crust, grains and nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit chalky finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid!
