0.5 l bottle from 'EDEKA Knudtsen', best before April 2020. Hazy, brownish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, nuts, clove and overripe banana. Slightly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy taste of clove, overripe banana, bread crust, grains and nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit chalky finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid!

A rare nice darker wheat beer that still hangs onto all the good qualities of a wheat while balancing in just a bit of roast. D&S Dresden

Taste is bananas, a dash of red berries, wheat, rye, some vanilla, slightly spicy and a hint of chocolate. Low hoppy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel. Balanced and easy drinking. I just like it.

Pours dark orange from the bottle. The foamy head rapidly settles but lingers in a stable, creamy layer. Aroma promises banana, chocolate, faint but inescapable sewer notes. Taste is bittersweet, trending more bitter and dry at the finish. The end brings a touch of acidity, but also plenty of banana, chocolate and rye. Body is medium, carbonation moderate, there is a watery aspect at times. Flawed, but I still liked it
