Keg at Brewdog in Reading. One-third pint shared with Finn. Jet black in the glass, tiny beige head, lacing rings on the glass. Roasted malty aromas of coffee and caramel, promising. Caramel-chocolate flavoured supported by coffee grounds. Mid-sweet roasted malty ending. Medium bodied. Quite good. (19.11.2021).

Delt med Rune. Svart med en anelse brunt. Mokkafarget skumring. Lett kaffearoma. Smaken lakris. Søt. Forsiktig tørr avslutning. Melkesjokolade.

Keg at BD Dalston - London. Pours clear deep brown with a small, creamy khaki head. Lightly sweet, lightly toasted malts, some brown bread, toasted toffee, dried berries. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. A faint rubber note in the finish, more toast, grains, earth. Alright.

Keg at BD Inverurie. It pours jet dark brown -black with a small khaki head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, umami, liquorice, coffee grounds, chocolate covered coffee beans, earth and toffee. The taste is dry, toasted, bitter - sweet, earthy, woody, cacao nibs, umami, rocky road, coffee grounds, roasted malt, malt loaf and light spice with a roasty, woody finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine carbonation. Nice old school porter vibe. Would probably excel on cask.
