1/3 pint, tap, shared with Finn at Hackney Church Brew. Lasting white head over a hazy golden body, scattered lacing. Moderate aromas of grainy citric. Taste of bread like malts, weak citrus, and noble hops. Mid-dry, and mid-sweet malty endnotes. Fair enough. (London 17.11.2021). --- Beer merged from original tick of St. John at Hackney Lazy Day Lager on 11 Oct 2018 at 08:44 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. St John's. Keg. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small white head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, sweetish and with a nice bready Czech vibe. Floral mid blends smoothly with a light citrus on the back end. Light semi dry finish. Excellent clean lager and very accomplished. Could drink a boatload of this.

Keg at the brewery. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a foamy white head. Good crispy lager, biscuits, nips of dry cereal and hay. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes fairly dry, with some biscuity malts, mellow bitter straw, crispy cereal. Can't fault this really. Great lager.
