On nitro tap at Mikkeller Brewpub London, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out gentle roast, a hint of cocoa, and earthiness. Flavour brings out tangy cocoa, British bready malt, and a touch of earthiness. Clean and to style. Pleasant.

Tap at mikkeller Brewpub London. An opaque black coloured pour with a lasting uniform light tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, woody bark, earthy, light spicy, wood. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, light tangy woodland fruits, bark, fruit and berries, mild funk. Palate is rounded, creamy, light tang, decent depth of flavour. Creamy. Solid.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured almost black in colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light smoky ashtray. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, liqourice, light spicy, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
