Keg at Mikkeller Exmouth Market, 19/04/22. Black with a good sized lasting tan cap. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, light spice, charr. Taste comprises chocolate, dried fruits, raisins, cocoa powder, roasted bite, dates. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with an underlying roasty tone. Solid flavoursome stout.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown to black, creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Caramelish to breadish. Smooth dark malty, breadish. Sweet. Roasted dark malty finish.

Yellow session at MBCC 2021, draught. Black in the glass, remaining beige head, spotty lacing. Roasted dark malty nose, hints of black chocolate. Rounded taste profile, dough and creamy chocolate. Ends with a roasted malty bite. Nice version of an English stout (Copenhagen 22.10.2021).

Draught @ MBCC 2021, Copenhagen. Pours black with a small creamy head and lacings. Super nice roast. Coffee and chocolate. Smooth and dry. Nice.

Tap @MBCC 2021, Yellow Session. Black, beige head. Roasted malt, choc aroma. Smooth, silky mouthfeel. Roasted malt and choc flavour, light coffee bitterness.

ABV: 4.6%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, coffee, dark malt, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, coffee, roasted, burnt, dark malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20211022]
