Made with USA hops (Simcoe) hence the name 'lager' rather than 'pils' . This version replaced the original 13∆ Craft Pils (brewed at Belgo Sapiens / Proefbrouwerij ) and was discontinued late 2021, after Dok and The Ministry Of Belgian Beer merged into DOK.

Pours clear blonde. Some cans have gushing ( tasted 2 canning dates side by side) . The non-gusher (more fresh) had a bit of an off scent ( smelled older, for some reason) . Malty, tad grassy by the simcoe hops, bit stonefruit. The younger can really is quite... Dusty for some reason. Taste is medium intense bitter, drying, stonefruit. Elegant, easy drinker. Fairly high carbo (gusher can). The other one is more pronounced on the hops , more in line with expectations here. Very nice lager, but I prefered their other ones to use, since that is truly a pilsner ( this is not, due to US hops) . i regularly use them to show Belgian people what a real pilsner is.
