Can from De Baron Van Wolvega. Aroma is roasted malt with hazelnut, coffee, some vanilla, milk chocolate, fudge, cappuccino. Plenty of nutty notes throughout, which pleases me. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium body, not as full as I'd like. Otherwise very tasty.

12 February 2022. At Winter Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks for hosting, Tim, and cheers to the whole crew!
Hazy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of hazelnut, chestnut, fondant, cashew, chocolate sauce, vanilla bean, toast. Taste has sweet date & prune in a toasty, hazelnutty, praliné-like malt profile with creamy notes. Earthy hoppy finish, quite toasty, nutty, still some fondant; warming brandy-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. All about the malts, less about the hazelnut actually.

Pours black, not much head. Scent is mild, some chocolate. Taste is medium intense, faded chocolate. Toffee, rather boozy, bit harsh bitterness. Hazelnut is lost.

12/II/22 - 50cl can from Bierbaum (Amsterdam), shared @ BBGG Winter 22, BB: 7/IX/31 (2022-186)
Clear dark brown to black beer, practically no head, just a few big aery beige bubbles, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, soft roast, some chocolate, coffee, mocha. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body, smooth creamy texture. Taste: good roast, some sweet malts, lots of coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, malty, sugary, mocha, quite some alcohol.

50cl can @ Brewver Winter Gathering '22. BB 07/09/2031 (yes).
