Bitter, citrusy and hoppy

22nd June 2019 The great disaster of the lost box of Polish IPAs, part II. 3 months past bbe. Very light haze on this burnished gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Mildly fluffy malts provide just a modicum of sweetness. Hops are quite bitter, even now. Some pine left and slightly tangy orange peel. Light dry finish leaves a bitter linger. This would have been a bitter bastard when fresh methinks, albeit with more citric peel intensity. Too bitter for me to really get in to.

7 3 7 3 14Draft at Dom Piwa, Poznań. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of green weedy hops, light fruits, citrus and malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sample at the Dom Piwa, Poznan. Thin white head. Clear light amber pour. Light bitterness.
