Bottle Conditioned.Now on its 25th edition, 2021 is a landmark year for Vintage Ale. At its heart, Pale Ale and Caragold malts combine with DRC®, a Double Roasted Crystal malt, to deliver toffee and raisin sweetness. Turning to hops, we're showcasing younger UK varieties for their luscious fruitiness. Endeavour brings plummy tones, while Olicana® and the as yet unnamed experimental hop CF182 add tropical and orange notes. All complemented, as ever, by the zesty marmalade character of our famous Fuller's yeast.

Gylden brun klar med beige skum. Lukter karamell, vanilje, trevirke og noe mørke frukter. Fyldig. Smaker mørk lett brent karamell, alkohol, mørke bær og fat. Middels lang.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear copper colour, small head. Caramelly, piney nose. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, honey and leafs. Long bitter finish.

ABV: 8.5%. [Bottle #054500] Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, caramel, dried fruit, fruity - candied fruit. light toffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dried fruit, candied fruit, oak, caramel, sweet malt, rich, malty. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming. [20230303]

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Waitrose. Pours clear copper with a creamy, off-white head. Medium sweet flavour with nice semi-ripe fruits, some orange peel, toasted grains, mild booze, light toffee, bread, earth. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Pretty well balanced finish, mellow warmth, further lightly toasted malts, stewed fruits. Great stuff.

Bottled (Bottle nr 054500, from Alko Stenhaga, Vasa. Shared with Mats). Hazy amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, some mild sweet alcohol and mild bready tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, dried fruity and some date like tones.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber with red chinks. No head. Nose - Jamaica cake and marzipan. Dried fruit. Taste - almond, marzipan and cherry. Dried fruit, probably raisins and prunes. Palate - medium to full bodied, sweet then dry-ish finish. Overall - lovely stuff.
