Bottle Conditioned.Now on its 25th edition, 2021 is a landmark year for Vintage Ale. At its heart, Pale Ale and Caragold malts combine with DRC®, a Double Roasted Crystal malt, to deliver toffee and raisin sweetness. Turning to hops, we're showcasing younger UK varieties for their luscious fruitiness. Endeavour brings plummy tones, while Olicana® and the as yet unnamed experimental hop CF182 add tropical and orange notes. All complemented, as ever, by the zesty marmalade character of our famous Fuller's yeast.

Bottle direct from the Brewery web shop and shared at home in Streatham, London (01/11/2022) - dark amber pour with a off white head. Sweet malty caramel and fudge like notes, some raisin, spices, fairly young so the nice hoppy fruity notes shining through more here to the 2020, not as complex profile yet of course but a few years will do this good, but as it is very enjoyable, lovely.

Bottle at The Lord Northbrook, Lee. Copper coloured pour with a thick beige head. Aromas of toffee, caramelised orange, vanillla. Flavours of sweet tobacco, caramelised orange, toffee apple, toffee, caramel. Rich warming finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy red-copper with a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, toffee, orange peel, raisin, brown sugar, fig, light alcohol and floral hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, toffee, brown sugar, plum, fig, orange and spicy hops in a dry, mild bitter, warming booze finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texture and soft carbonation. Delicious. Another world class ESA from these guys. Can't wait to try the 2022 vintage.

Appearance: Dark brown, red hue. Decent, light tan head. Aroma: Good dark fruits, vinous. Some light malt. Taste: Dark fruits, ripe fruits. Light caramel, sweetness. Bought: Courtesy of Nordcore, 500 ml Info: 23/7-2022, BB: 31/12-2031

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a caramel orange with a bubble head. Aroma is sticky, fruit, dates, raisins, boosty, malty, toffee, sugary. Taste is malty, fruity, dates, oranges, nice alcohol burn, caramel, toffee.

Shared with SirAlex. Thanks for providing a shelfturd almost becoming a whale in Denmark. Pours unclear amber with a small creamy head. Rich caramel, toffee, marmelade and orange with a touch of alcohol and dark fruit. Slightly rough around the edges still.

Rocky tan head stayed on a reddish brown still body. Malt, toffee, spiced fruit & liquorice aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth & creamy on the tongue with a dry clean back. Toffee, malt, raisin, liquorice & orange tastes with a lightly hopped zesty finish. This should be amazing in a few years.

Delt med A-L i solveggen på Lillehøgda. Mahognyfarget. Litt uklar. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Blir film. Aroma av svisker, rosiner & brandy. Smaken tørket frukt. Innholdsrik. Tørr bitter avslutning. Alkoholen skinner litt gjennom.
