Sort med brun, fluffy topp som daler raskt, blir liggende som et tykt lag rundt kanten.
Aroma; malt, kaffe, sirup, karamell, humle, plomme, bark, eik.
Smak; vanilje, malt, kaffe, plomme, karamell, sirup, eik, alkohol.
Fyldig, balansert, smaksfull. Varig ettersmak.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is decadent, with intense roasted malt, massive hops, plenty of wood, and some molasses — that’s pretty sublime. Flavour is rich and elegant, with intense wood, deep roasted malt, a massive dose of hops, and a touch of liquorice. Remarkably constructed, super old school, roasty and hoppy stout with elegant malt depth. Absolute beauty.

Shared bottle at home (bottled 8/2021). Pours black with little brown head. Aroma of alcohol, chocolate, coffee, tobacco, raisins, ash, liquorice. Tast has salt, roasted bitterness, some sweetness. Medium to full bodied, alcoholic warmth, smooth mouthfeel. Slightly sweet finish.

Hedonismen lenge leve!

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Black colour, no head. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, some alcohol, toast and quite coffeeish elements. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, toast, some mild metallic elements and raisins. Very boozy. Probably has possibilities to age. But as for now too boozy.

330ml bottle at tasting. thx VastActiv. Poured pitch black in color. Pleasant coffee aroma. Soy like notes as well, but coffee makes this one drinkable. Chocolate notes and deep roastedness.
