Bottle. Aroma malty, caramel, fruity. Almost clear amber colour. Taste is caramelly, malty, alcohol pokes out a bit. Rather sweet. A lot of caramelisation. Good one.

330 ml bottle from a Spar Gourmet supermarket in Vienna.
Dark copper to brown body, with a big, frothy, rocky, beige head.
Aroma of grains, nuts, bread, honey, some sweet berries.
Taste with about the same aromas, subtle fruity hops.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a quite soft carbonation.
Finishes quite light, roasty, sweet malty, with herbs and subtle zesty hops.

Nice one! Quaffable and well balanced between smooth bready notes, grains and honey like sweet malts. Could be a bit fuller though for my taste. Not on par with the best Märzen lagers from Austria (which are those from 7 Stern Bräu and Augustiner Mülln), but not too far behind in my opinion.

330ml bottle, thanks to Beerhunter111. Pours dark brown with fast diminishing head. Sweet, dark fruits dominate with caramel and herbal notes. Very drinkable & flavoursome.

330ml bottle. Clear, reddish, dark amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Caramel malty aroma with a fruity touch of cherries and red berries, yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, minimally tart, minimally sweet caramel malty, slightly fruity, hints of red berries and cherry. Decent.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Slightly yeasty dark malty with notes of bread crusts and caramel, accompanied by a subtle fruity touch. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dark malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of caramel, molasses and a delicately herbal hoppy touch far in the background; sweet malty and slightly hop bitter finish with notes of caramel in the slightly sticky aftertaste. A tad too sweet for my liking. 16.II.14

330ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, leicht hefig, leicht schokoladig. Geschmack angenehm schokoladig, malzig, Karamell. Sehr gelungenes Bier!
