12oz (thx, Nick S.!) @ 🏡 Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: nice vanilla, American oak, loads of chocolate, quite sweet. Taste: along the same lines, very interese, nice body and spicy notes from rye, a lot of chocolate and vanilla. Overall: very nice.

ABV: 15.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, whisky, barrel, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, chocolate, roasted, vanilla, barrel, whisky. Body is medium - medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20211021]

Bottle (Rye Barrel) share at Himmeriget, Copenhagen (20/10/2021) - pours black with a tan head. Dark sweet and roasted malty, opulent chocolate, sweet caramel and toffee sweetness, lovely silky mouthfeel, complex layers of bourbon into the warming malty close. Gorgeous.

355ml bottle @ Himmeriget (Rye Barrel). Smooth, sweet and heavy with vanilla beans, bourbon, oak, syrup and hints of rye. Quite balanced and tasty. Nice one.

12oz pale copper waxed bottle pours with a deep dark colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up an inviting blend of chocolate, dark chocolate, a full load of fresh vanilla, a bit marshmallow and then dark roasted malts, molasses and a mild bourbon like booziness. The taste delivers rich drool inducing dark chocolate and rich fresh yummy vanilla. To midway the modest dark roasted maltiness, bourbon like boozines and booze bubble to the surface to help provide a deeper richer experience. The moderate rich yummy vanilla really provides added depth without out shinning the other notes. This is a superior sipper. Wow.
