[ As Wren House Mountain Kingsnake ].
ABV: (14.0%). Clear dark black colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, vanilla, bourbon - barrel, touch of coconut - cocoa - peanut. Body is medium to heavy, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20211021]

Bottle picked up from Himmeriget and enjoyed at home (14/11/2021) - black with a thin tan head. Opulent chocolate cocoa depths, accompanying caramel and toffee sweetness, lovely vanilla sweetness seeping in as well, velvety smooth mouthfeel and full bodied, peanut butter chiming in, coconut, rich bourbon and vanilla and nutty malty finish. Glorious.

354ml. bottle. @Himmeriget, Copenhagen (Denmark). 21/10/2021 [#4.345 Global - #476 United States of America - #2 Wren House Brewing Company] Color negro viscoso, prácticamente sin espuma. Licorosa. Aroma: Pleno de whiskey, chocolate y coco tostado. Sabor: El coco se encuentra perfectamente balanceado y amortiguado por la madera y el caramelo tostado. Final bastante alcohólico y licoroso. Next one please!

Bottle @ Himmeriget. Black with a small dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily, soft and smooth. 211021

Sample during the It's Beignet while, so Parrish the Thought of Deserting Oil of Us for this Road Trip Tasting on 06/26/2021. Pours black with a medium thick beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky patches of lacing. Aroma of chocolate, malt and oaky bourbon. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, milk chocolate, oaky vanilla and bourbon. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and chocolate malt aftertaste. Very good beer all around.

Waxed 12oz bottle pours with a deep dark inky void of a body that supports a thin dark tan colored head of foam. The aroma offers up pleasing levels of vanilla, chocolate, dark roasted malts and then lesser amounts of whiskey, coconut and booze. The taste delivers similar notes with smooth rich sweet vanilla, chocolate and some sweetened dark roasted malts. This is smooth rich slick and a great sipper. The modest barrel treatment only creates further depth and interest rather than taking over the experience. Solid offering.
