Bottle from Beers@Moviefun. Hazy black, stable, foamy, beige head. Aroma of cold coffee, mocha, prune, toast, walnut shell, vanilla bean. Taste has sweetish prune & sourish blackcurrant; toasty, nutty malt body carrying notes of bitter coffee roast & vanilla cream; bit leathery. Earthy hoppy finish with dry & bitter black coffee & fondant, softly warming coffee liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. A coffee delight, well done, Bram!

25/I/22 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 25/VI/26 (2022-99)
Clear dark brown beer, almost black, bit crackling dark beige to brown head, falls down rather quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, some vanilla, hint of caramel, more coffee. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: good roast, lots of coffee, rather sweet, bitter touch, more roast. Aftertaste: all coffee, pretty sweet and sugary, malty, caramel, bitter, more coffee, very roasted, rather dry and hoppy finish, too much coffee for my liking. I guess coffee lovers will go crazy for it though. :-p
