Black Colour with small beige head.Aroma of cinnamon and chocolate mild spicy and sweet hint of toffee caramel and tonka beans nice smooth finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Opaque black, brown foam. Chocolate, caramel, tonka, vanilla, sweet and slightly sourish, lactose.

Bottle 2021 Caramel & Tonka Beans, 10.2%. Very dark brown with tiny head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, tonka/vanilla and dark fruit. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, sweet, tonka/vanilla, caramel, dark fruits, sticky, warming and a little bitter.

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2021) im 2022-02 getrunken. Wieder typisches IStout von Nerdbrewing mit dunkelbrauner Schaumkrone. Am Gaumen dominiert ein Schokoladen-Toffee-Aroma was von einer recht deutlichen Tonka-Note begleitet wird. Der Körper ist sehr kompakt und sorgt für einen sehr langen Abgang. Wieder einmal ein tolles IStout!

Bottle procured from The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a swiftly dissipating tan head. Nose is coffee, tonka beans, toffee, caramel, raisin, dark chocolate. Sweet soothing taste of coconut, tonka, creamy coffee, chocolate caramel. Long lingering sweet malty flavours. Utterly exceptional.

Over the top sweet and sticky in a good way. At least when paired with Stilton, caramel and dark chocolate. Decadent dessert!

On tap at Craft Metropolis. Pours jet black with a dirty tan head that starts big but fades to a tan ring around the glass. Aroma is chocolate, tonka, hazelnut, treacle, more chocolate. Taste is chocolate, some bitter dark chocolate, tonka, hint of coffee, fudge, chocolate brown. Lactose smoothes it all out but just a smidge of booze. Great stuff
