Deep in the Canadian forests lingers a viciouscreature. Nobody can give a detailed description, but those who have seen it, will tell you it's an encounter you will never forget.
The same can be said for the hop variety with the same name. It's a hop with rather unique characteristics. Nothing bold and forward, but just as the Sasquatch it hides itself subtly between the malt flavors, only to appear when you expect it the least.
Based on a wild Canadian variety first found in Pemberton, British Columbia, Sasquatch is Canada's first homegrown hop plant. It's a hop with orange, tea, lemon citrus notes. One of the main reasons it was called Sasquatch is due to the rugged mountain terrain that it was found in as well as the massive hop cones that Sasquatch produces.
This single hop beer is brewed as a tribute to the road trip we did through British Columbia in 2021.
