Our first IMPERIAL STOUT. We added 500GR of cacao beans to the beer which combines the roasty flavour with dark chocolate. A subtle carbonation to give you that creamy head and smooth body.

At 9% ABV this is a dangerous but easy acceptable beer.

17/XII/21 - on tap @ Station 1280 (Antwerp), BB: n/a (2021-1578) Thanks to the Antwerp crew for sharing today’s beers!

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, very malty, grains, roast, hay, cow fodder, very rural impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, hay, bit sweet, caramel, lots of chocolate, nice stuff, good roast!

Draught Medium if rather stable yellow-tan head over pitch-black beer, lace. Coffee, ureum, lots of roast, dark malts galore. Chocolate-rice bar. Sweet & dark chocolate with roasted and sweet malts. Starts sweet generally, but finishes remarkably drier. Just short of chewy, medium carbonation and quite slick to viscous. Quite decent stout but just not really imperial.
