33cl bottle at home on 22nd February 2026. Obtained from Brandenburg Airport (Berlin) after security, from some random shop. Brown/orange body, hazed, with an off white head. Boozy but lacked oomph and depth of flavour.

Bottle at BRLO brewhouse, Berlin, Sunday 25th January 2026 in the company of Nick, Anna, Charlie, Sarah, Ryan and Honey. Pours deep dark amber in colour with a small light beige head that didn't hang around for long. Toffee and caramel on the nose with rye and a damp woodiness. Flavour follows a similar trajectory but with barrel ageing noted, decent but perhaps a bit more carbonation would lift this. Score 7.4
