Taste: Dried plums and hints of winter spices dominate, with a silky smooth lingering caramel aftertaste.
Appearance: Pours dark blackish brown like a roasted rye bread with a dark brown head.
Nose: Oven fresh rye bread and jam, hints of cracked black pepper and juniper branches, followed by notes of toffee and burnt sugar. As the glass warms up leather and hints of tobacco pipe smoke join in, with an expressive aroma of oak.

10/1/2026. Bottle at ITFC Beer share. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours well. Aroma is caramel, biscuit, woody, bourbon, chocolate, golden syrup. Taste is rich, sweet, deep, chocolatey. Very smooth. Soft carbonation. Quite delicious.

Smell of rye bread, plums. Black colour, brown head. Aroma of rye bread, heavy oak and vanilla, some booze, dark chocolate, toffeey aftertaste. Soft carbon. Oily texture. Very sweet, medium bitter.

Bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma ecrù molto esile, evanescente. Al naso note di cioccolato, vaniglia, vino fortificato, leggera ossidazione, caffè. In bocca è abboccata, cioccolatosa, con note di vaniglia e botte, amaro medio-leggero a bilanciare. Corpo pieno, carbonazione leggera. Non male, nonostante la leggera ossidazione.

Bottle at home, 1st October 23. Pours a black and rich beer, aroma is roasted malts and chocolate, wood and liquor, taste is wood, barrel, chocolate and cocoa, liquor and sweet, some bitterness , really good
