A clean and simple, adjunct free milk stout made with a large mix of roasted malts, sugars and lactose. It wasn't around for long last time we brewed it so act fast!

Tap at the brewery. Black with small tanned head. Toasty to liquorice aroma with some creaminess and cocoa dusting. Taste has a syrupy sweetness, roast, cocoa, lactose, light berry sourness, some herbal bitterness. Medium to full bodied. Good.

Foamy tan head on a near black body. Nutty, lactose & chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with foamy sticky back. Chocolate, lactose, nutty & caramel tastes with a citrussy finish. That's a tasty one.

Keg at Digbrew taproom, on the RB Bingohame meet up, 02/07/22. Black with a good sized tan covering that stays for the show. Nose is bitter roast, charr, spice, dried fruit rinds, cocoa powder. Taste comprises milk chocolate, mellow roast, lactic tang, toffee, fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent flavoursome stout.

Draft: Poured a black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, light coffee. Taste is rich roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, smoothing finish.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a creamy tan head. Lightly sweet with good ashy roast, burnt rubber, dark sugars, raisins, earth, coffee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Sweet finish, meaty, lots of dark malts, ash, cocoa, dark fruits. Enjoyable.

Keg at The Cock Tavern, Hackney, London. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Sweet, roasty, malty, chocolate taste/aroma. Pleasant enough milk stout from Dig Brew.

Growler from Stoneworks. Jet black with a thin head. Aroma and taste are malty sweet. Nice sweet lactose. Full smooth body.
