Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy orange with a lovely head. Nose - light banana and cream but going down the sour side. Maybe buttermilk. Taste - creamy yoghurt and buttermilk with a banana note. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - decent considering the light alcohol.

Hazy orange colour with a big white head. Is Leicht not only on the alcohol, but in everything. The smell is not really intense. Taste is also thin, just some wheat and caramel notes, obviously lighter than the regular one. But to be a light beer is ok, maybe the best I head, if cold is also refreshing.

Nice orange-cloudy colour, thick white head. The nose is fruity and nice Weizen-typical. The beer starts mild, not as watery as expected. Quite full in flavour. The mainpart is smooth, mild. Nicely yeasty. Clove and banana quite intense. Lots of carbonation. The aftertaste is smooth, not too sweet. Very nice balanced. Absolutely great for a low-alcoholic Weizen! The only negative point is that the aftertaste is not as long as in a "normal" Weizen. But a smooth Weizen-tyical note still remains long in the mouth.
--> For a low-alcoholic Weizen absolutely great! For a "normal" Hefe-Weizen it could be a bit more intense - but it is no "normal" Hefeweizen! :)

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 27.02.2010
Aroma has hay, banana esthers and wheaty notes. Flavour is somewhat yeasty with banana esthers, wheat and hints of peaches. Thin and watery of course, but rather good for a leichte weisse.

Aroma has hints of banana and grass. Taste starts out smooth with banana notes but hops and citrusy fruitness kicks in fast.
