We honor our Pops with this beer. His vision built the Leisure Time ice brand decades ago and inspired us to build Jack’s Abby as a family business. Leisure Time Lager is brewed with wheat and a blend of spices including lemongrass, coriander, orange peel and chamomile. A subtle spiciness balances the citrusy and floral hops added to the whirl and hopback. Relax and enjoy! Leisure Time Lager uses locally grown wheat from MA.

Bottle pour into pint glass from Redstone’s Liquors, Stoneham, MA. Aroma is yeasty dough, slightly sour and citrus. Appearance is cloudy greenish yellow with quickly dissipating white head to ring, with mild lacing and mild sparkle. Taste is balance of sweet citrus and sour with coriander. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture and lively carbonation and citrusy sour finish. Overall, this stays on the sweet side of the sweet/sour balance with some spiciness. Highly drinkable.

Tap at the source. It pours lightly hazy gold with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, fragrant, floral, spicy, lemongrass, pepper and bread. The taste is crisp, bitter, spicy, cracker, minerals, lemongrass, floral and pale bread with a dry finish. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp and quite mellow. OK.

Pours a hazy straw from a bottle. Wheaty nose, chamomile flavor, I don’t really pick up on anything else, maybe a slight honey-character in the back of the throat at the finish. Good beer.

Bottle from Craftissimo outside. Aroma is definitely spiced - coriander and cloves. Taste too. A lot of things I don't like in beer - cloves, wheat, etc. - but it does a good job of hitting all those notes, even if they're ones I don't enjoy. Leaves a wheaty aftertaste with some lingering spice. Wouldn't get again but a good example of this style.

Hefig herber Antrunk, leicht gewürzig. Trocken hefiger Koriandernoten, danach abflachend, die Herbe steigt leicht. Erfrischendes, insgesamt unspektakuläres BIer. 9/9/11/9/9/9

Strangelove’s Philadelphia tap: pours yellow with small white head. Aroma is light and spicy with a tad bit of malt. Taste is light and a tad sweet. Nice apicy finish. Not very hoppy. Lingering aftertaste. Very easy to drink.
