Bottled 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, small beige head, chocolate and rye in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, rye and soy sauce with notes of caraway and alcohol. Sweet broasty finish.

330ml. bottle as part of the Beery Christmas 2021, Day #12. @home, 13/12/2021 [#4.624 Global - #28 Estonia - #5 Pohjala] Pours black with almost no head. Orange zest, rye, toasted malts, brown bread and soft ginger. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel. Warm finish. Next one please!

Bottle from the Beer Hawk Advent Calendar. Aroma has liquorice, tar over molasses. Hint of spice. Citrus edge. Dark and glossy. Virtually no head - a few tan microbubbles. Sweet. Sugary citrus. A distinct rye edge. However it's that sweet citrus that hogs the spotlight. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Very much a Pastry Stout.
