330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 10%. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma of roast malts, black rye bread, only a hint of spices and orange zest. Medium sweet flavour, notes of roast malts, coffee, dark chocolate and dark rye bread, hints of caraway and orange zest. Ginger and alcohol warmth in the mouthfeel. Pleasant to drink.

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.com - Deepest brown body, no head. Chocolatey orange, rum raisin, spicy nose. Sweetest oily mouthful, loads of citrus and chocolate, ginger root, sweet, sweet, sweet. Too easy to drink, potential to be very dangerous on a holocaustic level.

From a 330 ml bottle on 9/8/2022. Pours deep brown/black with zero head. Smells of dark chocolate, and citrus, dark and dried fruit. Medium sweet with dark chocolate and orange, with a mild spicy, tangy bitterness. The palate is oily, the carbonation softish. Interesting and enjoyable.

33cl Fles van Hopt Beery Christmas. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Gebrande mout, pure chocolade, brownie, koffie, wat zwarte drop, in de smaak teveel sinaasappelschil, hint van gember, de stout erachter is droog, gebrand en veel chocolade, licht kruidig van de rogge. Zonder sinaasappel was dit een hele fijne stout.

Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, one finger frothy beige head, long lasting. Sticky lacing on the glass. Interesting on the nose, smoke, figs, notes of ginger and chocolate. Medium to full body, lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, light fizzy. Roasty bitter taste with subtle sweet notes in the background. Aroma of dark chocolate, ginger, orange peel. Figs, rye, roasted malt, coffee. Ash, smoke notes. Bready. Lingering spiciness, subtle alcohol burn, nicely warming. Long lasting finish, lingering ginger. Tasty.
