Keg draught at the Plough, Harborne, Birmingham. Very light yellow gold, a little bit of haze, some loose white head. Light aroma, some citrus hop, some energy drink. Sweet taste, a little hoppy, some bitterness on the finish. Watery body, medium carbonation. Sounds like I am damning with faint praise but for a low alcohol beer it's quite good. And welcome for midday.

19/9/2024. Can bought at Candy & Liquor, Birmingham. Enjoyed from the can in ridiculously hot English autumn weather. Aroma is malty, oaty, citrus, grapefruit, biscuit, touch of herb. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Highly carbonated, but that aside it’s a perfectly acceptable AF without the worty cardboard which often reduces their enjoyment.

Can bought at Candy & Liqour, Brum. Aroma has tart citrus - lemon and grapefruit - with peripheral cardboard. Opaque light gold. Thin foamy translucent white head thins out. Medium bitter with that citrus tartness. Dials down. Damp cardboard comes through, although it's not overwhelming. Soda. Light. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Another boring AF. But not too soggy.

Keg at the Birmingham Brewing Co taproom, 18/02/23. Clear golden blonde with a white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is grass, melon, straw, grains, faint bread. Taste comprises light aspartamic notes, grass, herb, grains, straw, faint lemon nip. Medium to light in body, fine carbonation, light drying close. Not bad for the style.

Tap at the brewery. A mostly clear dull gold coloured pour with a fine halo of white head. Aroma is subdued. Gras. Hay. Grass. Flavour is composed of, semi sweet thin grains, grass, sileage. Palate is light thin, highish carbonation. Meh.

Can from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear pale straw colour with a fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is dank hops, light citrus. The flavour is light bitter and sweet, with a light, watery, dank, light lemon citrus palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Everything you might expect from a low alcohol beer in many ways, but with some added flavour.

330ml can. Low alcohol and gluten free. Slightly hazy golden, big foamy white head leaving lacing and aroma of citrus, floral, hoppy. Taste is malt, caramel, with some pine & citrus hop bitterness. Watery, thin mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, citric finish.
