Oliver’s Choice cider that has been Oak Cask conditioned and taken on the full character of the Islay whiskey casks used, making it a very special cider indeed.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of sweet apples, pear, woody and whisky comes through. Smooth apple flavour that went slightly spicy to finish. Nice.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers Shawn! Pale golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fleshy, citrus, with woody, whiskey notes. Taste is apple, fruity, citric, slightly tart, with notes of peat, whiskey, wood, spicy. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.

28/8/2021. From BIAB at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of apple, peat, citrus, whisky, wood. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice tart finish, but not a big fan.
