Classic Gold Rush blend with the barrel playing a strong role while the spicey, ripe apple notes and bracing Foxwhelp acidity give this cider a full rounded mouthfeel and make it a great drink. The #9 blend, again benefits from Ryan Burk's #ciderfood focus.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Bright copper and close to being completely still. Aromas of ripe apple and hay. Taste of sweet apples, some wood, then a dry, apple skin finish. Good.

Cider Freak Day, Sunday 3rd April 2022. I hosted a cider tasting with my good lady, or son, his girlfriend and my sister-in-law (who didn't really join in much). 330ml bottle brought by my son, we'd lost Auntie Sue by now, she was cidered out! Anyway this was a very pleasant even if I couldn't detect any barrel aging in the nose or flavour.
